Sheet sorting device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make sufficient quantity of sheet to be loaded by locating a bin member corresponding to the sheet transport means relatively apart from said means, so as to enlarge the sheet storing space when one of the bin members is used as a non-sort bin member. CONSTITUTION: In case a sorter is used as non-sort bin member, a stopper 10 is prepared to hold the rear end of the sheet loaded on the No.1 bin member 1 so as to expand the distance between the No.1 bin member 1 and the exit of the transferring rollers 7, 8. When the bin member 1 is in the normal service position (solid line position, A), one end 101 of the stopper 10 is supported to the body as rotatable, and the other end 102 is supported to one end of the link 12 is rotatable. The other end 121 of the link 12 can be moved up and down by a guide 11. By movement of bin member 1 (chain line position, B), stopper 10, link 12 and other end 121 are moved to the position 10', 12' and 121' respectively.
