Method and apparatus for issue soft sheet-shaped material

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To place soft sheet-shaped materials neatly on a receiving table by making the transfer speed to issue them onto the receiving table finally changeable with ease without reference to the transfer speed at the processing position in a sending- in part. CONSTITUTION: Sheet-shaped materials 2 conveyed by a main conveyor 1 are further sent via a sending-out conveyor 3. When rear ends of the sheet-shaped materials 2 are separated from the main conveyor 1 to come to the position of a sensor 9, a timer 10 is operated by the output thereof. After a fixed time, an output signal is issued by this timer 10 to release the clutch of an electromagnetic clutch brake 8, while braking is given to intermit the conveyor 3. Then, the electromagnetic clutch brake 8 is returned, and as the next conveyance is started, the sheet-shaped materials 2 held in their rear ends between the conveyor 3 are sent out to be issued during the low speed at each start of operation.
