Stereo playback device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To achieve excellent sound image with good quality between L and R signals, by providing a real or imaginary speakers between speakers radiating two signals L and R, and radiating (L+R) signals according to the coincidence of L, R signals. CONSTITUTION:A signal at L signal input terminal 10 is applied to an operator, or L input terminal of a correlation device 9, and L input terminal of an addition operator 8, and applied to a speaker 1 via an electronic volume or attenuator 6. On the other hand, a signal at an R signal input terminal 11 is applied to an R input terminal of the device 9 and the R input terminal of the operator 8 and also applied to a speaker 2 via an electronic volume or attenuator 5. The operator 8 makes addition of (L+R) and radiates the resultant from a speaker 3 via an electronic volume 7. The attenuation of the volumes 5-7 is cntrolled with the output of the device 9, and when the L and R signals have higher coincidence, raidation is made for the speaker 3, and if higher dissidence, radiation is made for the speakers 1, 2. Thus, sound image with good quality can be achieved without losing the feeling of stereo.
