Paper ejection mechanism for thermal record printer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To provide a simple and economical paper ejection mechanism for a thermal record printer which is composed of a back roll which is made contact with a heated printer head to perform thermal recording and a feed roll which rotates by receiving motive power from the back roll and sends out sheets of recorded paper to an ejection outlet. CONSTITUTION: The underside of the edge of a movable plate 1 is equipped with a feed roll 4 and a back roll 5 by means of a mounting mechanism, not shown in the figure. Between the flange portions 4a, 5a of these rolls 4, 5, a belt 6 is stretched over. At the time of recording by a printer, the back roll 5 is caused to contact with a print head 8 and a drive roll 9 through a strip of ink donor film 7 and it is rotated by the revolving drive force of the drive roll 9, and in turn the feed roll 4 is rotated through the belt 6. A paper guide 2 is made contact with the feed roll 4 and sheets of recorded paper are ejected through the gap between these two units. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
