Cutting and winding device in toilet paper winder

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To cut, seal and wind toilet paper continuously by mounting a plate having high water content, conducting the cutting and sealing of the finish of winding and automatically wind the toilet paper successively. CONSTITUTION: When a paper pipe 5 falls by means of a pressing-down roll 6, the tension of the toilet paper is strengthened between a winding drum 3 and a winding roll 15. When the tension of the toilet paper is strengthened, a thin cutting edge 14 contacts, and a wet section is cut because it has no tensile strength. Water is supplied to a cut pipe 12 from a feedwater port 13. The cutting edge 14 consists of the thin special plate having high water content. An end section of the winding roll 15 cut in prescribed winding length is wetted by the moisture of the cutting edge 14. Here, receiving rolls 8, 9 and a stopper roll 10 are turned in the arrow directions, and the end section of the wet roll 15 is adhered. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
