Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To arrange material to be conveyed tightly without gaps by coupling and fixing engaging bodies which engage driving pulleys to a linking lever so that the movement adjustment can be performed only in the axial direction and maintaining the relationship of engaged or non-engaged driving pulley. CONSTITUTION: When the material to be conveyed is placed on a roller 2 and reaches a sensor roller part 48, the roller part 48 is pushed down, and a rotating lever 52 is rotated counterclockwise via supporting lever 49 and a supporting shaft 50 on both sides thereof. A rear linking lever 37 is pushed backward via a linking lever 53. Engaging parts 31 of three engaging bodies 27 attached to the lever 37 are selectively compressed to an engaging part 16 of the corresponding driving pulley 6 and selectively engaged to one of the six pulleys 6. Each roller 2 which is located behind the material being conveyed is selectively stopped, and the succeeding material to be conveyed is stopped a moment before it is contacted with the forgoing material.
