Manufacture of heat-insulated box

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To uniformarize the growth of a foamable and heat insulating material, by introducing the foamable material into a space defined between an outer box and an inner box in which the wall surface is treated to become slippery or plates or sheets are arranged, which are slippery on the heat insulating sides, and foaming the foamable material. CONSTITUTION:To form the space 5 a decorative frame 4 connects the inner box 2 attached with a product 9 and the outer box 3 having walls 3a opposite to walls 2a attached with the product 9, the walls 3a being applied with a surface treatment agent 10 to make the growing foamable and insulating material 6 slip on the walls 3a. Then the inner box 2 is secured by a heated male mold jig 11, and after the foamable liquid material is introduced from an inlet 13 into the space 5, the inlet 13 is closed by a plug 15, and the outer box 3 is secured by a heated female mold 12. The introduced foamable liquid material foams and gradually grows, which expells the air and the Fron gas in the space 5 through a plurality of small holes 14 to the outside of the mold, and the liquid material sets to become the foamed insulating material 6, so that a reservoir section A is produced.
