Neutral cable number referencing method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity of providing a special common line, by providing a switching circuit between a slave machine and a cable and using a conductor of the cable, to which input terminal on one side of a master machine is connected appropriately by potential control from the master machine, as a common current-returning wire appropriately. CONSTITUTION:At the time of opening of an electronic switch SWP, voltage from a DC power source B is impressed to an input terminal + of an operation amplifier 8, a switching regulator 7 is actuated, and a signal generator 2 is actuated. When the SWP is closed, the regulator 7 becomes electrically separated, and the signal generator 2 transmits a signal of a constant pulse width to a wire number discrimination indicator 4 through a conducter l1. A common current returning passage goes from an earth to a cathode of the power source B passing through a diode2-3 and a conducter l2, in this case, as a current returning passage is formed by connecting to anyone of the conducters l1-ln of an input terminal IN2, it is not necessary to provide a special common current returning passage.
