Additive color source device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an additive color light source device which hardly produces uneven colors by having discrete light source lamps for red, green and blue, and electrically controlling the luminances of the respective lamps thereby controlling the quantities of light. CONSTITUTION: A lamp house casing 1 and light source lamps 21, 22, 23 (halogen lamps) are included in the additive color light source device. These halogen lamps are used as a blue light source, a green light source and a red light source, respectively. Dichroic filters 21, 22, 23 for blue, green and red are disposed, if necessary, by way of condenser lenses 41, 42, 43 and heat shielding filters 51, 52, 53 are interposed in the positions rectangular to these light sources. Hence, the luminous fluxes from the light sources are received as they are in glass fiber bundles without causing any irregular reflection and scattering at all, and the entire part of the quantities of the light thereof is guided without any loss up to a light exit part 61a, from which the three primary color light is outputted without any unevenness.
