Pressure control valve
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To achieve a small and compact size of a valve which proportionally controls the pressure of burner fuel gas through electric sigals, by applying one main valve to both function of the main valve of a pressure regulator valve and the main valve of a proportional solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION: When heat is not required in a gas burner, a main valve 12 closes a port 5, being energized by a spring 13 as a valve seat 26 is closed due to the dropped position of a selector valve 25 and a main diaphragm chamber 10 and an outlet side passage 4 are connected through. When heat is required in the gas burner, the selector valve 25 rises, and a by-pass valve seat 27 is closed. Working gas in an inlet side passage 3 enters the main diaphragm chamber 10, and when the pressure rises to a specific level, the main valve 12 is lifted up, and a port 5 is opened. When a specific electric current is applied to an electromagnetic coil 19, a servo valve 18, a main diaphragm 9 and the main valve 12 operate so that a force produced by the current may be balanced with a feedback pressure, that is, the pressure in the outlet side passage 4.
