Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the sticking and remaining of discharged materials on the side walls of a filter device, improve the yield of cake and make cleaning work easy by providing such rotary comblike vanes that provided an agitating function and a discharging function simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: Slurry liquid is injected through the liquid inlet 2 in the upper part of a body 1, and is filtered by the filter media 4 on a filter plate 3. The filtrate is discharged through an outlet 5 and cake 6 accumulates on the media 4. A vertically movable and forward and backward rotatably revolving shaft 9 is provided to the inside center of the body 1, and two pieces of arms 10 are provided to the bottom end of said shaft 9. A rotator mounted with triangular vanes 11, 11a, 11b in a comb shape is provided to the bottom surfaces of said arms. While the cake after filtration is uniformly agitated by this rotator, the cake is cleaned and dried, and the dried cake is automatically discharged. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
