Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To accurately measure the impedances of multiple elements in a short time by using a rotary drum having movable contacts wherein all the terminals except the terminals of the elements to be measured are grounded. CONSTITUTION:Objects C1-C20 to be measured of unknown electrostatic capacities are connected to a switch RSW and a low speed motor is driven to rotate the rotary drum RD of the switch RSW. When a movable contact SC1 is allowed to contact with the stationary contact S11 of a stationary drum, the H side of C1 is connected to the H side of the terminal to be measured of an electrostatic capacity measuring device CB through S1, S11 and SC1 as well as the hollow part of a shaft SH. On the other hand, the L side of the object C1 is connected to the L side of the measuring terminal of CB. By this connection, the electrostatic capacity of C1 is measured and is recorded in a recorder RC. During measurement of C1, all the other objects to be measured C2-C20 are held grounded and therefore there are no influences thereof, and the accurate capacity of C1 is measured. If the rotary drum is rotated at a prescribed speed, it is extremely effective in the case of following up the change in electrostatic capacities.
