Operation controller for turborefrigerator
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To stably run a refrigeration cycle, by switching a compressor from a low- speed run to a high-speed run after closing an inlet guide vane to a prescribed degree of opening when the compressor has received a signal for the switching. CONSTITUTION: The characteristic curve of a compressor is stored in the form of a relationship equation between the quantity of sucked gas and adiabatic head or in the form of numerical values in a memory 6 by using the parameter of an inlet guide vane. When a referigerator is run by driving the compressor 3 and a low speed increase ratio is set and the degree of opening of the inlet guide vane has become 100%, the inlet guide vane is closed to a prescribed degree of opening. After that, a clutch change-over solenoid valve 13 is shifted from the low speed increase ratio to a high speed increase ratio. Since the quantity of impeller-sucked gas before and after the switchover of a clutch is almost constant, the fluctuation of outlet temperature of cold water is so low that the operation of the refrigerator is stably continued.
