Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent overrevolutions of auxiliary machinery at the time of engine's high-speed revolving by coupling the input shaft, ring gear and friction plate with carrier, driving pulley and sun gear, respectively, and by interposing a one-way clutch between the carrier and sun gear. CONSTITUTION:The input shaft 2 and driving pulley 3 are coupled with the carrier 24 and ring gear 22, respectively. When a solenoid operated valve 29 is energized, a friction plate 27 is put in close contact with a friction face 30 to apply brakes to a rotary sleeve 15. A one-way clutch 32 is interposed between this sun gear 21 and carrier 24. When the revolutions of the engine exceed a certain specified value, the solenoid 29 is put out of energization and the sun gear 21 becomes free. Accordingly, no differential motion is made any more and the sun gear is rotated together with the input shaft 2 through the work of one-way clutch 32, and further the ring gear 22 and, accordingly, the driving pulley 3 are rotated together with the input shaft.
