Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To lessen the number of frictional points and thereby obtain a minor engine for low-speed rotation by rotating a cylindrical rotor without eccentricity. CONSTITUTION: Main rotor 3 is rotatably installed in a fixed framing 1 whose internal shape is made in a trochoidal curve. At the periphery of the main rotor 3, a semicylindrical planetary rotor 4 is installed in such a way that it can rotate in a recess 30 excavated in the outside wall of the rotor 3. A rotary side plate 5 rotating together with the main rotor 3 is fixed to the side of the main rotor 3. At one side of this rotary side plate 5, a driving 42 and an idling 43 gears are supported to mesh with a stationary gear 44 and to drive the planetary rotor 4. In order to make suction and compression after No.1 planetary rotor 4a having performed combustion and exhaust, according to this arrangement, the combustion shall be made at the very time when No.2 planetary rotor 4b and No.3 planetary rotor 4c have attained the upper dead point one after another. The cylindrical body is not required to rotate eccentrically, and the rotor can rotate as it does to provide rotary force. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
