Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To control the driving of both a sliding base and a tone arm in a simple mechanism, by giving a driving control to the tone arm provided to a chassis with the shift of a rack. CONSTITUTION: A record is put on a turn table, and a start/stop switch is pushed. Thus a sliding base 1 moves in the opposite direction to the previous time to reach a position of performance (3). Then a locking pin 7a moves to engage the base 1 and then to stop. At this moment, a turntable shaft is at the position C and a motor 2 continues its turning to move forward a rack 5 which is set free. A control mechainsm of a tone arm TM is provided at the rear edge of rack 5. Thus the arm TM is turned forward and put down at a position of lead-in groove of record (4) for the start of performance. When the performance is over and the arm TM reaches the lead-out groove, the rack 5 moves in the opposite direction to the previous time. Thus the arm TM is moved up to be turned again toward the inner part of the turntable. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
