Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To smoothly stop with digital signals without useless vibration, by exciting exciting phases in a specific order when a pulse motor is controlled to be accelerated or retarded on a two-phase exciting system for stopping in a desired position. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor 1 having four exciting phases A-D is driven by control circuit 2 by feedback of a travelling position thereof. And when a traveler reaches the starting position of a stop control stroke exciting the exciting phases C and B, the exciting phase B is also excited to keep a three-phase exciting state for the time t1 in addition to the final exciting phases A and D for a desired stop position followed by giving the continuous exciting signals to the exciting phase B in addition to the exciting phases A and D to perform excitation for the time t2. Thereafter only the exciting phases A and D remain in excitation to stop in the desired position. Consequently the smooth stop is done by giving a suppresive force reducing a driving force by the final exciting phase while simplifying the constitution.
