Solar battery
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate production and to reduce production costs by a method wherein a solar battery is formed with a polacetylene film treated with acid. CONSTITUTION:After a cis-form polyacetylene film is soaked and left in 10% of a methanolic hydrochloric acid solution with N2 blown into the liquid for 20 hours, the film is rinsed with a methanol solution from which oxygen has been removed beforehand, in an atmosphere of N2 until the rinsing liquid becomes almost neutral. Then the film is dried in the atmosphere of N2 for one hour, before being heat isomerized at 200 deg.C for one hour to allow Al to stick to one side through evaporation and Au on the other side through evaporation. A solar battery is formed in this way. By so doing, a Schottky barrier is formed between the polyacetylene film and Al. When white light is irradiated to an area of 40mW/cm<2> on the surface of Al, a solar battery having about 40muA/cm<2> of a short-circuit feeding current can be obtained.
