Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate wasteful consumption of power energy, by making electrical separation of an induction generator from a prime mover when revolution of the prime mover has deviated from a revolution range set in advance. CONSTITUTION:A revolution detecting device 14 detects revolution of a prime mover 11 to drive an induction generator 10 and puts it out to a sequence circuit 15. The sequency circuit 15 trips a circuit breaker 12 when a revolution detection signal becomes higher than the rated revolution of the induction generator 10 or lower than synchronous revolution. When the revolution detection signal has returned within the prescribed range, the circuit breaker 12 is closed. It is possible, by doing so, to protect the induction generator from overload and underload due to overspeed, and it is also possible to eliminate a motor function by slow speed.
