Centrifugal concentrator

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To scrape up concentrate effectively by providing a rotating member for scraping up the concentrate in a space for discharging the concentrate in a centrifugal concentrator. CONSTITUTION: A member 7 that rotates on its axis is provided in a space S 2 for discharging concentrate in a centrifugal concentrator to scrape up the concentrate from the inner wall face side of a rotating cylindrical body 1 to a flow passage R 3 side for recovering concentrate. The member 7 is made to rotate round the rotating cylindrical body 1 at relatively low speed in a differential rotatable state. By this way, the concentrate in the space S 2 for discharging concentrate is agitated without disturbing concentration and separation in the space S 1 for concentration. Since the member 7 for scraping up can rotate freely on its axis, scraping up of the concentrate to the flow passage R 3 for recovering is executed effectively.
