Centrifugal concentrator

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To recover concentrate efficiently with a simple structure by freely rotatably providing a pipe, which can change its position radially, on the inner wall of a rotating cylindridal body of a centrifugal concentrator in a differential rotatable state. CONSTITUTION: A pipe 10 for recovering concentrate stuck to the inner wall of a rotating cylindrical body 1 of a centrifugal concentrator is freely rotatably provided in a differential rotatable state against the rotating cylindrical body 1. An opening end of the pipe 10 for discharging concentrate is constituted so that its position can be changed freely in radial direction of the rotating cylindrical body 1. By this way, the dynamic pressure caused by differential rotation can be utilized effectively, and recovery of concentrate can be performed with high efficiency keeping the desired density by controlling the position of the opening end.
