Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the number of times of key operations and eliminate waste of receipts, by printing single article transaction data in one line in case of a single article transaction processing by discrimination of a single article transaction discriminating flag. CONSTITUTION:It is assumed that only one article of merchandise belonging to some department code is sold under the state where a single article transaction discriminating flag corresponding to the department code is set. In this case, the amount of money of this article is entered by an enter key 2, and data of this amount of money is stored in an entry register 15 temporarily, and a corresponding department key 3 is depressed. A CPU8 discriminates that the single article transaction discriminating flag corresponding to the department code is set on condition that a single article transaction denial flag 16 is not set. Data of the amount of money stored in the register 15 is added to the amount of money for sales of a department-classified memory 17 corresponding to the department code, and department code data and data of the amount of money are printed in one line, thus completing the processing of single article transaction.
