Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To discharge the air bubbles produced in transparent liquid and to maintain good photoconduction efficiency by providing a liquid feed port feeding said liquid into a flexible tube and a liquid discharge port removing the liquid from the tube inside to the neighborhood of both end parts of said tube. CONSTITUTION:Light from a light source 5 is made incident to one window member 3, repeats total reflection on the inside surface of a tube 1 and emits from the member 3 on the other end side. When light irradiated from the light source 5, liquid 2 is heated and air bubbles appear in the liquid and stick to the inside surface of the tube 1. The transparent liquid of a liquid feed source 9 is fed into the tube 1 through a liquid feed port 6 by operating a pump 8 and is removed from a discharge port 7 and is recovered into the source 9. The liquid 2 is forcibly circulated in the tube 1 and the air bubbles stuck to the inside surface of the tube are peeled from the inside surface of the tube by this flowing and are dischrged to the outside. Part of the air bubbles moved to the member 3 side without being discharged from the port 7 pass through an air permeable liquid tight member 4 and are discharged to the outside.
