Wear resistant sintered fe alloy
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a sintered Fe alloy with superior wear resistance by adding a specified amount of C, Cr, P, N, etc. to Fe, uniformly dispersing fine nitride and relatively coarse carbide in the matrix, and allowing part of the carbide to be occupied by carbonitride or nitride. CONSTITUTION: This alloy consists of, by wt., 0.5W3.0% C, 5.0W30.0% Cr, 0.1W 5.0% P, 0.03W4.7% one or more among Si, Ti, Nb, Ta, V, Zr, Al and B, 0.005W 2.9% N and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities or further contains 0.5W10% Mo and/or W and/or 0.5W10% one or more among Ni, Co and Cu. This alloy has a structure in which fine nitride and relatively coarse carbide are uniformly dispersed in the matrix, and part of the carbide is occupied by carbonitride and/or nitride.
