Water-based fluorescent ink composition
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To prepare a water-based ink composition having improved storage stability, emitting strong fluorescence, and suitable for a felt-pen, etc., by adding a specific polyhydric alcohol to an ink composed of a water-soluble fluorescent dye, a wetting agent, and water. CONSTITUTION: The objective ink composition is obtained by mixing (A) a water- soluble fluorescent dye such as rhodamine 6GCP (C.I. Basic Red 1), etc., (B) a wetting agent, (C) water, and (D) a polyhydric alcohol of formula I or formula II (R 1 and R 2 are 4W15C and 6W15C aliphatic hydrocarbons, respectively) (pref. a hindered alcohol such as trimethylol propane). The pref. amounts of (A), (B) and (D) are 0.001W10wt%, 5W30wt%, and 5W40wt%, and the remainder is water. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
