Color photographic sensitive material containing scavenger for oxidized product of developer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To efficiently prevent color fog without exerting unfavorable influence on the silver developability of silver halide by blending a color photographic material with >=1 kinds of practically colorless nondiffusible hydroquinones each having a specified structural formula. CONSTITUTION:To a silver halide emulsion layer are added >=1 kinds of nondiffusible compounds represented by formula I or II (where R is an aliphatic group, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio or arylthio, when n is 2, R is identical with or different from another R, Z is carboxy, alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, carbamoyl, sulfamoyl or sulfoxide, n is 0 or 2, and X is halogen). Thus, a color photographic sensitive material is prepared.
