Turbocharger
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve an output in a low speed revolving zone by a method wherein a specifically controlled auxiliary block is provided in a bypass flow path connected to the suction flow path of a compressor rotor and the discharged air thereof is flowed into the compressor rotor. CONSTITUTION:The bypass flow path 13 is ramificated from the suction flow path 11 of the compressor rotor 5 connected to the shaft 6 of an exhaust gas turbine rotor 3, the auxiliary blower rotor 14 is provided and is driven by a motor 15, and the discharged air thereof is introduced into the rotor 5 while a changeover valve 20, provided in the flow path 11, is so constituted as to be controlled by a pressure difference between the suction side of the rotor 14 and the discharging side thereof. The system of this charger is so constituted that the motor 15 is stopped when the treading amount of an acceleration pedal 31 is little while the motor 15 will never be started when the pressure in a pressure switch 30 provided in the discharging flow path 12 of the rotor 5 is lower than a given supercharging pressure and the motor 15 is being stopped even if the amount of treading is large, and thereby increasing the supercharging pressure upon the low speed revolution.
