Vinyl chloride resin film and its preparation

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: A wrapping film that contains a citric ester plasticizer and an epoxidized plasticizer at a specific ratio in a specific amount, thus showing good slip properties with the substrate, low unwinding resistance and high tackifying properties. CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride resin are combined with 20W60pts. of a plasticizer consisting of 90W40wt% citric ester plasticizer and 10W60wt% epoxidized plasticizer and they are made into a film of 8W30μ thickness. Further addition of 0.5W5pts. calcium or zinc stabilizer gives a good influence on its transparency and the addition of 1W5pts. of a surface active agent, preferably a nonionic surfactant melting at lower than 40°C, is preferred.
