Processing system for abnormal congestion

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To allow a suitable countermeasure against abnormal congestion automatically and to operate an automatic exchanger smoothly, by connecting a call to an informing device once, when congestion is detected in an automatic exchanger consisting of constituents processing calls. CONSTITUTION:When calls incoming to a main trunk are congested and the response of an attendant board ATT exceeds time, a central controller CC detects that the number of traffic jam calls exceds an effective call processing number and the main trunk COT is connected to a talkie trunk TKT with a path 2 in a network NW. As a result, the main trunk COT is in response to the main trunk line CL and a messages is transmitted too a caller. When the CC detects that the number of jamming calls decreases to the effective number of calls or below, the trunk COT is changed over to the operator trunk OPT through the path 1 to receive the response.
