Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To enable the change-over of advance and backing by means of the before and behind operation of a speed change lever, and to facilitate operation by a method wherein an advancing and backing gear system is mounted adjoining in the axial core direction, and changed over by the sliding in the axial core direction of a connecting means. CONSTITUTION: When the fourth shifter 64 is connected to the fifth transmission gear 55, power is transmitted successively in the order of the first variable speed shaft 34 → a driving gear 39 → a driven gear 48 → the first decelerating shaft 47 → the fifth driving gear 50 → the fifth transmission gear 55 → the fourth shifter 64 → the second variable speed shaft 51, and the second variable speed shaft 51 is turned at intermediate speed. When the fourth shifter 64 is connected to a backing gear 54 power is transmitted successively in the order of the first variable speed shaft 34 → the driving gear 39 → the driven gear 48 → the first decelerating shaft 47 → a backing driving gear 49 → a planet gear 53 → the rear gear 54 → the fourth shifter 64 → the second variable speed shaft 51, and the second variable speed shaft 51 is driven backward.
