Automatic changer for mixed firing ratio

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To enable to perform reliable automatic change without disturbance in a short time by time-series programming a mixed firing ratio signal via a change rate limiter, especially to assure ignition and extinguishment of a burner under the region of low flow rate. CONSTITUTION: At the first time of a rate change T 1 , by changing a mixed firing signal 36, the switching for mixed firing is started and the combustion is performed exclusively by heavy oil. The change rate according to the mixed firing rate signal 36 is limited by a change rate setting signal 63 to reduce the flow rate of gas in a stable state till the minimum gas flow rate FMIN. The time at which the gas flow rate reaches FMIN is detected by a monitoring signal 41, and at this time the optimum change rate signal 65 is replaced by a low flow rate region change rate signal 64. This allows the decrease in a safe condition to be ensured even under a low flow rate region and the safe extinction of the burner. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
