Assembling method of magnetic tape cartridge

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To shorten an operation time, by driving a screw by utilizing the elasticity of a lower case so that the upper and lower cases can be coupled easily and exactly, when coupling the upper half case and the lower half case. CONSTITUTION:A screw thread of a coupling screw has an inclined surface 12b which has been inclined toward the tip part side of the screw. An upper case 2 and a lower case 3 are formed from syhthetic resin having elasticity, such as polystyrol resin, etc. When the screw is driven after the upper case and the lower case have been coupled, the screw is fitted into the cases by elasticity of the case, and the cases are connected in one body. When detaching the screw, it is rotated in the loosening direction in the same way as an ordinary screw.
