Rotary disc-type waste water disposer driven by turbine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To rotate rotary discs with high efficiency and to enhance an aeration effect, by injecting a water spray and a gas spray, e.g. air, oxygen or the like, directly onto a turbine blade. CONSTITUTION: A rotary body A is rotatably arranged through a bearing 17 on a waste water vessel 1 having a semicylindrically dented portion. About 40% of the rotary body A is dipped in sewage 2. The rotary body A is constructed by a rotary main shaft 4, a plurality of discs 3 attached parallel to the main shaft 4 at a right angle, and a plurality of turbine blades 5 arranged on the peripheries of the discs 3. With partial use of its cover 18, pressurized water from a pump outside the vessel is introduced through a feed pipe 19 and a valve 20 to the interior of the cover 18, and injected toward the blades 5 through a plurality of injection nozzles 22 at the position where a communicating pipe 21 in the air near a water level in the vessel 1 opposes the blade 5. At the same time, air compressed by a blower outside the vessel 1 is injected through a feed pipe 23 and a valve 24 in the same manner. Consequently, the rotary body A is rotated by water and air, and the aeration is done concurrently. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
