System for measuring recording time
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To measure the length of a recording time in a short time, by measuring the length of the recording time in the state of tape fast forwarding. CONSTITUTION:At a time T0, the system is controlled to the fast-forwarding mode by the operation of a keyboard 9, and a tape is fed in a fast-forwarding speed. At this time, a detector 12 for the start and the end of a designated music number detects a start time t1 and an end time t2 of a designated third music on a basis of designated music number signal and an inter-music part detecting signal. When a start time detection signal is generated from the detector 12 at the time t1, an operating circuit 7 is activated, and a tape residual quantity L1 is operated on a basis of a rotation period TS of a supply reel 1 and a constant and is stored in a storage circuit 14. An end time detection signal is generated at the time t2, and the circuit 7 is activated, and the residual quantity L1 is operated similarly. This result and the operation result in the circuit 14 are subjected to subtraction in the circuit 7. This subtraction result indicates the length of the tape for recording of the third music and is displayed as a time on a display 13.
