Interdigital band-pass filter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture and to reduce variance in quality by forming a filter by using resonator constituent elements, each made of an inductive body in a rectangular-prism shape. CONSTITUTION:A hole gap 22 is made nearly in the center of each inductive body 22 in a rectangular-prism shape, and a metallic film 23 is adhered to a proper depth on its internal wall to form resonator constituent elements 44-47. Similarly, constituent elements 42 and 43 of an input and output transformer are formed. Those elements 42 and 43, and 44-47 are fitted, differing in direction, in housing 41 forming an external conductor at intervals 48-50 to form a filter. Thus, each element is made of the inductive body having uniform density, and since the structure is simple, the manufacture of the filter is facilitated, reducing variance in quality. Varying the intervals of elements adjusts the characteristics of the filter.
