Cassette loading device of copying machine or the like

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate cassette loading without enlarging a copier body size, by loading the copier with each cassette for containing copying sheets of size different from each other from each different side of the copier. CONSTITUTION: Grooves 51, 50 provided on paper feed board 49 of copier body 44 are engaged with projections 53, 52 of large or small cassettes 48, 47, etc. for containing copying sheets of large size, small size, or the other different size, and cassettes 48, 47 can be loaded into the copier only from openings 46, 45 of the front and side of body 44, respectively. When cassette 47 is loaded, cassette 48 cannot be charged by closing opening 46 with cover 57 through micro-switch 58, thus permitting cassettes of different kinds to be loaded by easy operation free of mistake without enlarging the copier body by loading only small size cassette or the like low in use frequency from the side.
