Variable vane controller
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To simplify an equipment by providing a variable pressure control means which controls at least one inlet variable guide vane to reduce a compressed air in flow rate with reduction of pressure output from the compressor. CONSTITUTION: Output pressure from a compressor is carried into a chamber A via a compressor squeezing air inlet opening 14 at the center of a cover 13. A chamber 13 is communicated to the atmosphere by an atmosphere relief opening 15 located in a culindrical face of a casing 10. In the chamber B, three coil springs 16a, 16b and 16c different in length and inner diameter from one to another are loaded concentrically with the casing 10. Each end of the springs is securely fixed to the end face of the casing 10. Depending on a movement of a piston 11 according to an output pressure from the compressor, the piston rod 17 drives an angle changing means of an inlet guide vane on the outside of the casing 10 to change an angle of the inlet guide vane.
