Scroll fluid machine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To supply lubricant to a hardly accessible place by exerting onto the lubricant a centrifugal force produced by a balance weight formed in a passage for lubrication. CONSTITUTION: A crank shaft 7 is provided with a balance weight formed with a radial passage 13. The lubricant entering the passage 13 from an eccentric path 8 is subjected to a great centrifugal force and then is vigorously ejected from the passage 13 to the outer periphery of the back side of a turning scroll an Oldham ring 9 and the outer periphery of a panel for a stationary scroll. The vigorous ejection of lubricant greatly serves to provide a sufficient lubrication to the contact surfaces of the Oldham ring 9, the housing and the scroll as well as the contact surfaces of the stationary scroll and the turning scroll.
