Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To increase the wear resistance and lubricating characteristic, by including polishing member having a specific Mohs hardness as lubricant and fatty acid ester having a specific carbon number. CONSTITUTION:As lubricant, nonmagnetic substance polishing material (0.1- 10pts.wt. to 100pts.wt. of magnetic substance) such as diamond, emery, spinnel, garnet, flint, iron oxide, chromium oxide, aluminum, silicon carbide, boron carbide having >=6 Mohs hardness and <=5mu in particle size, fatty acid in 20-26 of carbon number such as ethyl erucic acid, butyl erucic acid, butoxyethyl erucic acid, octyl behenic acid, 2-ethylhexyl behenic acid, and fatty acid ester of monohydric alcohol of 1-26 carbon number are constituted with constituents included in magnetic substance layer consisting of coupling agent and ferromagnetic powder. Thus, the wear resistance and lubricating characteristic can be increased.
