Hair-setting agent composition
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:A hair-setting agent that contains an amphoteric acrylic resin, a polyoxyalkylene-modified organopolysiloxane and polyethylene glycol, thus imparting high setting properties to hairs and protecting hairs from various kinds of damages. CONSTITUTION:The hair-setting agent contains (A) 0.3-10wt% of an amphoteric acrylic resin composed of structural units of formula I and II (R1, R3 is H, methyl; R2 is alkyl; R4, R6 are alkylene; R5 is H, methyl, ethyl; m/n is 1/4-4/1 in mole), having a molecular weight of 30,000-100,000, (B) 0.05-3wt% of a polyoxyalkylene-modified organopolysiloxane of formula III-IV (R'1 is methyl; R'2 is H, alkyl; p is 1-5; q is 2, 3; X, S, T are determined so that the content of polyoxyalkylene groups becomes 25-70% and the viscosity becomes 10-100 centistokes) and (C) 0.02-3wt% of polyethylene glycol of 200-800 molecular weight.
