Engine-mounting device with damper
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To miniaturize and simplify the rubber of a mount with a damper and facilitate the installation thereof by providing a hollow part in a mount rubber and connecting a reservoir filled with liquid to the hollow part through the intermediary of an orifice. CONSTITUTION:The hollow part 3 is formed inside the mount rubber 2 and an upper metal fitting 1 with a projected bolt 8 to be fixed to the side of the engine is fitted monolithically on to the upper surface thereof, while a lower metal fitting 6 with a hole 6a having the same diameter with the hollow part 3 is fitted also monolithically to the lower part thereof. The lower metal fitting 6 is fitted to a car body through the intermediary of a base plate 9. To this base plate 9 is fixed a nut 12 having an orifice 4 facing the hollow part 3, and through the intermediary of a flexible pipe 14 whose one end is screwed to one end of the nut the hollow part 3 is communicated with the reservoir 16. The reservoir 16 is constituted by putting a box 18 formed of a flexible element into a groove 17a located on the peripheral edge of a cover 17 and by fastening with a band 19 and is filled with liquid supplied from an opening 17b.
