Alarm for clogging of filter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To exactly foresee the clogging of the filter of a room air conditioner by obtaining the accumulated value of the amount of air blast of a fan motor in the room air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: Three kinds of indoor fan switch signals L, M and H for detecting the amount of air blast are converted into binary data through an encoder 5, and also signal (a) is put in the CK terminal of an octal presettable upcounter 9 as an input pulse signal (d) together with clock signal from a reference oscillator 7 as an accumulation command signal (b) indicating the rotation of a fan motor through an OR circuit 6. A part of the output (e) of the counter 9 is loaded on a terminal Lo as a signl (f) delayed from the output (e) through an RC delaying circuit 10. Also, if binary data is determined by air blast amount at each of taps L, M, H of indoor fan, the number of the output pulse (e) of the upcounter is regarded as proportioning to the air blast amount to foresee the clogging of the filter.
