Controller for air conditioner

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To supperss energy loss by providing dampers and ducts for directly supply and exhaust air without passing through a heat exchanger, an enthalpy counting sensor, and a controller therefor. CONSTITUTION: In a case where a place 8 which is the object of air conditioning is to be air-cooled, if the outer air enthalpy from an outer air sensor 20 is larger than the indoor exhaust air enthalpy, a controller 26 closes a damper 22 for direct air supply and a damper 24 for direct air exhaustion, and opens a damper 23 for air supply and a damper 25 for air exhaustion due to the heat exchanger 3, thus performing heat recovery from indoor exhaust air by a heat exchanger 3. Conversely, if the outer air enthalpy is smaller than the indoor exhaust air enthalpy, the controller 26 closes the dampers 23 and 25 and opens the dampers 22 and 24 to directly perform air supply and air exhaustion. Accordingly, energy loss due to the heat exchanger 3 is suppressed thereby to eliminate the consumption of electrical energy due to the driving of air supply and exhaust air fan.
