Cubic speaker box of variable sound source position

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the occupied space at nonuse and to increase the low sound characteristics and feeling of cube in use, by forming the side of two speakers with bellows. CONSTITUTION:The speaker boxes 1, 2 are connected to the side plates 5 and 6 with bellows 3 and 4. Further, the boxes 1, 2 have respectively connection holes 7, 8 and the bellows 3, 4 can cover the connection holes 7 and 8 to shut external air and the part contacted to the side plates 5 and 6 of the bellows 3 and 4 is fixed. Accordingly, when the bellows 3, 4 are extended, the boxes 1, 2 are detached and the interval of the sound source 9, 10 is increased, resulting in increasing the feeling of cube at reproduction. Simultaneously, the inner volume of the speaker box is increased including the bellows, allowing to increase the low sound characteristics. Further, in nonuse, the occupied space can be reduced by compressing the bellows.
