Rotary type desalting apparatus
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To efficiently use the occupying space and rotating power of the apparatus and minimize the cost of making water by logically setting the configuration of desalting process and separating modules. CONSTITUTION: Lead-in ports 9a, 27a for the liquid to be desalted, concentrated liquid take-out ports 9b, 27b, and permeated water take-out ports 9c, 27c which are disposed on one radius of the outside circumference of a revolving shaft 3 and are mounted radially to the shaft 3 are provided to the separatong modules 9, 27 groups in which reverse osmotic membranes are built. In the separating module stages 9, 27, the liquid to be desalted passing the separating modules is supplied to the lead-in ports for the liquid to be desalted from the shaft 3 or its neighborhood and the concentrated liquid having passed the separating modules is discharged through the concentrated liquid take-out ports from the shaft 3 or from its neighborhood. Said separating module stages are disposed concetrically at least in two stages on the outside circumference of the shaft 3 and the permeated water take-out ports and the supply system for the liquid to be desalted are connected in such a manner that the permeated water coming out from the permeated water take- out ports of the stages on the outer side of these separating modules is supplied as the liquid to be desalted of the separating module stages on the inner side.
