Injection amount control in fuel injection device for internal combustion engine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To maintain desired characteristics of a fuel injection device by correcting accelerator pedal signals representing actual depression amount of the accelerator pedal to run a fuel injection device according to desired accelerator opening- rotational frequency characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 6 is provided with an idle circuit 16 producing the output idle accelerator signal S 5 for controlling a Diesel engine run with a optimum idle rotational frequency in idling and a constant vehicle speed circuit 17 for sending the output constant vehicle speed accelerator signal S 6 for permitting the constant vehicle speed running. These signals S 5 , S 6 and accelerator position signal S 4 are applied to the input of a priority circuit 22, and composite accelerator signal S 16 is applied to the input of a correction circuit 23 to which is supplied positional signal S 3 from a position sensor 14, so that a fuel injection pump is corrected to be run according to required accelerator opening-rotational frequency characteristics.
