Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To conduct a multicolor heat-sensitive recording at a high-speed, by a method wherein a multicolor heat-sensitive recording sheet is colored by feeding a heat power, which corresponds to a plurality of input signals and has a plurality of steps, to a plurality of heating recording elements. CONSTITUTION:A large number of heating recording elements 4, whose positions are fastened, are arranged in the direction crossing the running direction of a multicolor heat-sensitive recording sheet 5 at right angles, at minute equal intervals. Multipoint input signals S1, S2...Sn are controlled by means of a timing signal from a timing signal generating circuit 2, and are switched in order by means of a switch group 1 and are guided in order to an analogue digital transducer 3. After the signals S1, S2...Sn are transduced in order to digital signals, they are applied to a pen heating circuit 6. In the circuit 6, a heating power having a capacity, which is preliminarily determined corresponding to the order of the signals S1, S2...Sn, is supplied to the element 4 at a position, which corresponds to a digital volume of the signals S1, S2...Sn, by means of a synchronism signal from the circuit 2 for heating the recording sheet 5 which is colored into a color corresponding to the order of the signals S1, S2...Sn.
