Soldering preheater
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To preheat the materials to be soldered with good thermal efficiency and prevent soldering defects from occuring by constituting the preheater in an automatic soldering device by means of a hot wind generator in the lower part and shelding plates provided with inlet and outlet shutters. CONSTITUTION:Flux is coated on printed substrates 2 which are the members to be soldered. The substrates are then fed into the preheater by means of a conveyor 1. A panel heater 9 which is a heat source, and blowers 10, 11 for hot wind are provided in the lower part of the preheater. The upper part of the belt conveyor is covered by a shielding plate 12 having shutters 13, 14, and an exhaust hole 12c. The hot wind which is blown out in a horizontal direction from a nozzle 12a and is produced by the heater 9 is fed together with the hot wind flowing upward from a nozzle 11a to the left direction in the shielding plate and part thereof escapes through the exhaust hole 12c. The greater part of the hot wind returns again to the lower part and circulates, thereby preheating the printed substrates 2 with good thermal efficiency. The temp. in the preheating chamber is detected with a temp. detecting piece 15, and is controlled to an optimum temp. by an automatic temp. control unit.
