Molding method for plastic

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To uniformalize a molded article and save labor for a quality control by measuring the temperature of the mold of a molding machine, comparing the measured temperature with the standard temperature, and thereby selecting the molded article and controlling the temperature of the mold. CONSTITUTION: The molding machine being operated under the surveillance of an operator, the temperature of a movable die 1 when a good article is molded is measured by a standard thermometer 8, this temperature is determined as the standard temperature b, the upper and lower limit temperatures c and d are decided therefrom, and these are sent to a comparing logic circuit 10 and stored therein. On the occasion of molding, the temperature of the movable die 1 is measured by an infrared detector 6 and is sent, as the measured temperature a, to the above comparing logic circuit 10. When the measured temperature a is positioned outside the region between the upper and lower limit temperatures c and d, the molded article is judged to be faulty and the temperature of the mold is controlled for adjustment.
