Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make it possible to perform centrifugal dehydration and press for a slurry simultaneously continuously, by providing a screw fin on the circumferential face of the rotation shaft provided in the cylindrical body and by providing a washing nozzle operating intermittently outside the cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION: When rotation shaft 8 is rotated to supply the slurry from supply hole 13, the slurry is carried downward due to pressure by screw fin 12, and water is flowed out through gauze 3 of cylindrical body 2 and is stored in receiving tank 23. The slurry not only receives pressure carrying force dependent upon screw fin 12 but also is pressed to the gauze 3 side and is further squeezed and dehydrated, and the strained lees is ejected from ejection hole 14. During this time, pump 21 is operated for a set time by a timer and so on, and washing water is sprayed to all of the circumference of gauze 3 by nozzle 16 of washing pipe 15 to resolve clogging of meshes of gauze 3. By this mechanism, the dehydrating work of the slurry becomes efficient, and the life of the device can be prevented from being shortened. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
